Value the Short Time for Workouts
You may get this term mixed up with 'value your time for short workouts'. Both terms are functional and point to attainable goals. When we value our short time for workouts, we fix our schedules to make things work. We know exactly or should know exactly what we want to perform during that short time we have (i.e., lunch break, rest area break).

Short time can be used for beginners to advanced level or very active individuals. For example, you are given an hour lunch break. Hopefully, you have already eaten at least one meal before lunch; so you take this brief 1-hour to perform something physically and mentally constructive in addition to receiving proper nourishment.

Media Frenzy
The media swarms with interesting facts and figures and advertisements about how to stay healthy. We are bombarded with lists of foods that we should and should not eat, when to workout, how much sleep we should get at night, and why a Virgo's moon has something to do with a Pisces (OK, I threw that one in there). Basically, this information overload can drive us crazy!

It is best to know yourself, to know your body, and to avoid sinking to the level of how society sees fit. For example, I have seen literature suggesting that the best time to workout is between 2pm and 4pm because our muscles are more awake. Uh huh, tell that to the marathoners, rec runners, swimmers, and football players, who prepare for the NFL Combine, at the crack of dawn! How many of you have heard that coffee is bad for you? That coffee is good for you? (Ahhhh! Confusion!)

You may have heard this following term a lot...balance out everything seems to work well. (cont'd)
