You probably hear it often...
"You need to rest."
"Your body needs rest."
"I need some me-time."
"Vaaaacaaaation!!!"
It's true.
I know it is only January 1st, but at some point in 2022 you might feel exhausted and stressed. You can rebound from that feeling with rest. Well, rest is one ingredient. Our bodies are meant to move and rest in order to continue to move, think, and do anything else it needs to do.
Rest complements movement.
As much as our minds work, as much work as the jobs of individuals demand, as much as life throws wrenches in plans or changes the trajectory of personal dynamics...rest plays a vital factor.
We get sick...rest.
We get sore...rest.
We get angry...rest.
We experience trauma...rest.
We eat too much...rest with that "itis".
We workout too much...rest.
You get it.
Well, maybe because you still have to do it. You still need to rest.
Stressed?...rest.
Rest has many flavors:
• Sleeping
• Laughing
• Stillness
• Praying
• Meditation
• Leisure activities
• Singing

• Writing
• Reading
• Massage
• Spontaneous road trips
• Planned trips
• And more...
