10 Items: 10 In-Home Sport Skills Without Space

Do you need a lot of space to work on skills?

No.

So, you should never say, I don't have enough to work on_________________ (insert the skill).

Do you need equipment to work on skills?

It depends on the skill.

But, no one should excluded from basic equipment, such as a stick for hockey, a basketball for basketball, a baseball bat for baseball. You get the picture.

So, below you will find 10 sports skills that you can do with little to no space. You can add space and move around more per skill. But, repeated and good practice will enhance these skills:

1) Puck Relays - all you need is a few feet and work around small areas.

2) Basketball Handles - work dribbling skills in a small area.

3) Lacrosse Cradle - use barriers like furniture or pillars as defensemen.

4) Field Hockey Ball Control - same as puck relays.

5) Volleyball Volley - Can you go outdoors to practice higher volleys? Otherwise, work on control with a lower ceiling.

6) Soccer Juggle - any player that can juggle many reps in a small area without messing up...is good. Since the World Cup is happening now, try out this skill.

7) Track Acceleration - Wall drills, anyone? Got stairs?

8) Baseball For Swing - Make sure no one is around you. Stay away from walls.

9) Football Hand Techniques - You can use a partner, and that is all the space needed. Or, practice shadow twchniques without a partner.

10) Gymnastic Holds - (see 10 Superb Upper Body Exercises). A wall and a floor...maybe stairs. That's it. If you have ceiling rings, then that's fantastic!

Much success to you | Derek | @teemptraining | derekteempt@gmail.com
