You may not have accomplished all of the items below. But, you can set a goal to try them (weather dependent, of course). Not ranked but ten of the best in winter (human) performance :
1) Shoveling - Is it fun? No. When is it rewarding? When you shovel for a neighbor, for safety around your property, and certainly to shovel a sled track for absolute fun!
2) Snowball Fight - adults vs kids is a must.
3) Sledding/Sled Track - I tried to make one in the coldest and snowiest winter that Boston, MA ever had.
4) Igloo, Hut, Table - making these in the snow has fun written all over it.
5) Ice Hockey/Skating - have mentioned these activities a few times now.
6) Hiking - with the leaves off the trees, you can see for miles or hundreds more feet.
7) Skiing/XC Skiing - separate from ice hockey and skating because you generally have to travel farther, so skiing becomes a getaway.
8) Snowshoeing - See skiing above. I have never done it...yet.
9) Hunting - For the hunters ut there who do not mind the chill or winter hunting for tonight's dinner.
10) Hanging Lights - It is a physical activity. The gardening of the winter.
Honorable Mention: Chopping Wood
Get at it this month!
Much success to you | Derek | @teemptraining | derekteempt@gmail.com
