I am sure that I have defined core in a previous post. But, core workouts are defined as the coordinated sequence of body parts or muscle groups that help you move smoothly. Your core is not simply your abs and back. Your core includes your abs, back, butt, and hips as the main players. These players assist to coordinate movement in your upper and lower body. If you have issues in the main core areas, then your smooth and coordinated efforts may fall short of the optimum.
Floor core is core that uses the floor as a base for movement.
A top 10:
1) Crawls - includes gorilla walks, bear crawls, commando crawls, bullfrog, and more in multi-directions. Crawls come with a slew of versatility and full body work.
2) Supine Combo - you can perform so many exercises on your back, so why not combine some of them?
3) Plank Taps - any direction...with or without weight.
4) Bridges - all of them in all forms and weights.
5) Side Plank Ups - modified or full, they hit.
6) Mason Rotations - You know them as Russian rotations. Masons uses your legs, and you could interchange the name.
7) Scorpions - prone, on all 6s or 4s, plantigrade...any position works. Double or single tap.
8) Rockers - not a part of the supine combo series, but it can serve as its own combo series.
9) Floor Jacks - no matter the surface.
10) Hollow Rocks - with or without weight.
