The Push From 9-11

This post originated in September with a hiatus until December:

I would have posted a September 11th message on the exact day. However, that day always feels different. I didn't post anything about it on social media - I might have retweeted an image.

Instead, the focus for this post: living.

With a powerful information age at your hands, you want the intricacies of a topic that day, now, and right as a moment occurs. After a specific moment, then what? You continue with life.

September is one of the three most popular birth months. So, plenty of life shows its face in this ninth month of the year. The month represents the end of 3/4 of the year. In academics, that percentage (75%) is average. In athletics, 75% has great potential, depending on the sport, position, and situation.

No matter the circumstance 75%, like other percentages, differs. But, 75% is only part of 100%. Plus, you get a chance to start over - in academia, in athletics, and monthly. You get a chance to live and redo.

See, at the end of September, another month starts...October. If you have monthly goals to achieve, you cherish the new life that a new beginning gives you. September 11th in the United States is filled with somber due to the attacks on 9.11.2001. The day is memorialized, and it's difficult to forget your whereabouts on that particular day in 2001.

But, a certain push lingers. The push to live. For those of us who experienced 9.11.2001, we do not want to take life for granted. Yes, life's changes  and turmoil happen; yet every change and turmoil does not have to extract something horrible.

We...you can get through and push through anything.

Much success to you | Derek | @teemptraining | derekteempt@gmail.com
