My World Cup Final Experience

I am writing this post as I watch the replay of the World Cup because I did not get a chance to see the game live.

I had a crowded day:

Normally, I am in church or at a youth hockey game during, or what would have been, World Cup time. Today, I had a group training workshop during the game while my family attended church service. 

First, my son had a very early wake-up call and hockey game. So, I knew the game would be coming on after that ended. 

I still did not want to know about the World Cup game because I could not watch it.

I had to travel back home before heading back out to attend the training.

No idea about the score.

My goodness, Argentina is controlling the ball well in the offensive zone. France better pick it up!

Once I arrived at the workshop, I liked the fact that two individuals were watching the game on their laptops. That's good invested interest and showed care for the career field we share. Sports and the World Cup does that to you. Fùtbol, as you know, is very exciting. It was fun to play as a youth and fun to watch the World Cup.

I took every moan from the two in reference to the game like a champ. 

By the way, it's 0-0.

But, I had no clue what was going on...  

Ohhhh, Giroud (FRA) with a diving header. Great effort.

The adrenaline!

Someone needs to give the commentator on Telemundo a raise. THIS brotha gives his entire breath to saying...GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!

Sorry, I had to marvel at the game for a bit. But, what a sequence by Argentina. Wow! That was textbook passing on the way to a...GOOOOOOOOAAAALLLLL!

That second Argentina goal was brilliant fùtbol. France got caught ball-watching, which happens at all levels of sports. But, that sequence put France in a trance. 

Uh oh...the replay halftime is quick. Second half is now!

I mean...Argentina is controlling this game with a 2-0 lead in the 74th minute. The fans from South America's second largest country is alive and chanting!

Look at that...France is having trouble pentrating the wall of Argentina. 

Well...that could be a game changer: a penalty kick for France.

GOOOOOOAAAALLLLL!

Mbappé.

Oh snap! 

GOOOOOOAAAALLLLLLL!

Mbappé again!...2-2.

The adrenaline. Tired bodies. The will to win it all in front of millions around the world. Fatigue talking while the urge to fight it off carries on!

See, Argentina went up 2-0 earlier in the game by controlling the play and attacking.

Mbappé with the hattrick!...3-3.

My goodness...Argentina wins! What a spectacular World Cup final between Argentina and France. Bravo!
